    Hi everyone,

I have been looking for any information about the peace lilly that I can get ahold of.  I have spent hours pouring over google search as well as bing for care instrucitons as well as other helpful informaiton, but in reality there really isn't a whole lot out there other than where to purch one

I know the general watering and light requriements for a peace lilly, as well as how large they can get, and their bennifical properties.  Here is what I really want to know:

    1.  How large must the plant be inorder to be considered mature enough to bloom?
    2.  What is the best way to encourage the plant to produce blooms?
    3.  When do peace lillies usually bloom, as well as for how long?
    4.  When the plant does bloom should I use a small brush and spread the pollen around the plant, as well as will it
produce useable seeds or does it spread under ground like a hosta?
    5.  Are they plants that like to be slightly cramped in their pots?

A bit about my plant:  I've had it for about a year and it is a lush deep green with many new and old leaves.  It is in a 4" pot.  The largest leaves are about a long as my hand but not quite as wide.  The plant as a whole stands about 5" tall and is about the same diameter give or take a bit for each measurment as they are guesstimates.  The plant also sits in an eastern window with shears.

    Thanks for any help,
