    Hi...

there's some kind of bluish powder on my grass. This comes and goes but comes back never in the same place. It seems to appear after days of rain and or lots of watering. The first time I saw it was after I planted new grass seed and was constantly watering the lawn 3 times a day. for the first week. Then after days of rain.

I am not sure what causes this but Lots water may be a prelude to this happening.  I have seen this about 3/4 times. But I take a broom and brush it off and it seems to be ok. I'm just wondering if I should be worried about this or not?
Zone 8a, growing everything I can. Still make plenty of mistakes, still learning..... To much to eat myself anybody want some?

I know this is a late topic, but I too have seen this at early morning with the dew. Not so much as explained and not the same color but in red.

I live in a rule area, miles away from town, so I came to the conclusion  that it must come from small factories that distribute small waste in the air and settle to the ground with the dew.
